Huge amounts of crude oil are used to produce polyethylene, polystyrene and plastic products used in the world of packaging. Everyone comes into contact with products such as bubble wrap, polystyrene chips, etc., but have you ever thought about what happens to these products when they are disposed of? They do not rot, cannot be incinerated and are not biodegradable; in fact, petroleum-based products contribute to the creation of a global mass of waste that is virtually indestructible and presents increasing problems of disposal, and when oil deposits are depleted, they will disappear altogether.
These days, people are becoming more and more interested in the environment, and the fact that recycling has become commonplace proves this. We are very proud of the fact that the wood wool we produce is an environmentally friendly product - completely biodegradable.
A question we are often asked is how can we be eco-friendly if we cut down trees??? There is a simple answer..... we are FSC ® certified , this means that we only buy our wood from responsible FSC ® certified sources . Next time you are in the supermarket, take a look at the back of the toilet paper packet and you will see an FSC ® symbol – any company that sells wood-based products should have this certification.... if not, then don't use them as they could be coming from deforestation around the world!
