During this uncertain time, caring and supporting our customers and employees is more vital than ever. As now is not the time to panic, but instead, work together and react sensibly. We Continue To Operate Within Guidelines

Even in these unknown times, rest assured, we are still open and operating services for your group and essential travel. However, we are receiving a huge volume of calls and emails about travel and bookings. So alongside offering greater flexibility, we are following leading health and safety guidance and taking proactive steps to keep everyone safe. Read on for the answers, or get in touch if you have any further concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are TJs still running coaches and minibuses?

Yes, our services are still running. As you know there has been extensive advice from the Government, regarding non-essential travel. So any scheduled trips that have been deemed safe to run are continuing as usual. Plus we’re available to help with any new trips and we will continue to rescue stranded groups, as required.

What happens if my event or trip is cancelled?

If your event or trip is cancelled, we are extra flexible. We can transfer any deposits to future bookings. If specific dates are unknown at this time, we’ll keep your reservations open.
Alternatively, we are supporting cancellations on a case by case basis.
However, with reduced staff levels and increased customer concerns, our customer response team is extremely busy. So one thing we do ask is that you bear with us and be patient. It may take longer than expected, but we will get to you. Get in touch HERE

What actions are you taking to safeguard passengers and staff against Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

We take the welfare of you and our employees extremely seriously. That’s why we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe. We are going above and beyond the advice from public health authorities. For example, we are rigorously and frequently washing hands and providing hand-sanitiser on all of our vehicles.

We have information notices in all of our vehicles to remind everyone of the right safety measures. Plus, where our vehicles have onboard washing facilities, we are keeping them stocked with soap, toilet roll and hygienic drying solutions and encouraging you to use them regularly.

Moreover, we have upped our vehicle cleaning regimes to the highest levels of hygiene for both drivers and customers, to minimise the risk of contact with Coronavirus (COVID-19). This cleaning extends to our depot and offices, which are undergoing deep cleansing routines daily.
We will continue to follow advice from the UK public health bodies and introduce any additional measures that are recommended or required.

Is hand sanitising available on all vehicles?

Yes, we have a great supplier of hand-sanitisers. So we have enough high-level alcohol sanitisers to provide them on all of our vehicles.

What if Coronavirus is air-bourne, is it safe on your vehicles?

Across our entire fleet, we have gone the extra mile and completed rigorous air conditioning deep-cleans and servicing. Reducing any air-borne contamination, so you be sure the air you are breathing is contamination-free. Therefore, making your journeys safer with us. corona preventions at TJ travel

What if someone gets ill on your vehicles?

Should we made aware of an infected passenger, or if someone shows signs of infection, we have a series of events that we would implement quickly. We would take that vehicle out of action for the required quarantine period, for instance. Intensive, sterile cleaning would follow this quarantine using expert-advised methods. In addition to ensuring passengers safety and isolation, don’t worry – we would inform anyone in contact with that passenger to self-isolate.

Are you available 24 – 7 if I have a concern?

Yes, our customer response team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at all times throughout this crisis. So reach out to us via the website, your email or by phone if you need us – get in touch HERE

We are stranded and need rescuing, can you help?
